This intensive training will support reading specialists and coaches in the work of guided reading with their teachers working with readers in texts levels A-J with support across 2021-2022 school year.  

 

Content Covered: 

• Advanced running record coding and analysis for identifying clear teaching points

• Planning instruction in guided reading and/or conferences to support those teaching points

• Understanding the nuances of text changes that offer supports and challenges for readers across levels A-J (kinder-early 2nd grade levels)

• Clear and explicit support for comprehension
