June 7, 2022
Grades Pre-K ~ 2
Location: Tomball Event Center
20235 Cypress Rosehill Road
Tomball, TX 77377
This ONE DAY workshop will take a classic look at Shared Reading, Focus Poetry, and songs with children that need additional support with phonemic awareness and oral language. In the wake of the pandemic, addressing the needs of young learners of today has never been more crucial. As teachers, we need to be on high alert and observe children's articulation and sensitivity to sounds as well as their ability to play with language phonemically. Walk away from this workshop with a clear idea about how to explicity embed these skills into your large group teaching but also transition it to small groups for children that need additional support. We will also show you great resources online to help you along the way, and links for parents as well!
ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP.
This workshop qualifies for Title 1 funding.
Make checks payable to Koesel Consulting.
Cancellation Policy: Substitutions are allowed at any time; however, refunds are not given.
