We have loved our playbook workshops and now we want

to go a step beyond.  In this ONE DAY workshop, we will

explore a string of strategies to support a bigger skill or understanding.  We want to equip you with strategy rings to give you options when working with readers in small groups and conferring.  On this day, we will look at strategy rings for:

• building Purpose to Read

• main idea/key details

• text features: headings, photos/captions, diagrams

• vocabulary and meaning

• author’s agenda (point of view or stance)

ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP.  

  

This workshop qualifies for Title 1 funding.​

Cancellation Policy:  Substitutions are allowed at any time; however, refunds are not given.

All workshops begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m.  

Plan to arrive between 8:10 and 8:20 to sign in, pick up materials and find seating.  If you are expecting a large group from your school, it is a good idea to come early if sitting together is important to you. Dress comfortably and you may want to add layers...buildings can be really cold.
