Coaching readers and writers can be daunting for the best of
teachers. This TWO DAY workshop will give concrete and specific ways to provide explicit teaching moves to support individuals or small groups in your literacy block. We will address using assessment to plan conferences, management and record keeping for conferences, different types of conferences and goal setting. This workshop will include breakout opportunities for K-2 and 3-6.
ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP.
This workshop qualifies for Title 1 funding.

All workshops begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m.
Plan to arrive between 8:10 and 8:20 to sign in, pick up materials and find seating. If you are expecting a large group from your school, it is a good idea to come early if sitting together is important to you. Dress comfortably and you may want to add layers...buildings can be really cold.
